What happens to my domain's email if I no longer host my site with Mxhub?

"When my hosting contract expires, will I lose my email addresses too?"

If you decide not to renew your hosting contract (or rather if you decide to cancel your account, unless canceled all hosting plans are automatically renewed at the end of each billing period) while you would lose the ability to send and receive email from our mail server whether you continue to be able to receive email via your domain's email addresses depends on whether or not you continue to renew your domain name and where you have your domain name point.

If you elect to move your web site to another hosting service you would update the name servers for your domain to the new host's name servers (if we registered your domain this is something you would submit a trouble ticket on and we would take care of). Mail bound for @yourdomain email addresses would stop coming to our mail server and would instead be directed to the new host's mail server. It would be up to you to recreate the specific email accounts you had with your account with us on the new host's servers.

If you decide you no longer wish to maintain a web presence and you no longer have need of a full service web host such as Mxhub if you wish to continue renewing your domain name for email use only there are a number of services which offer low cost domain parking and email only accounts.
